20th march

Todays lesson went really well. We started of rehearsing the mock the week scene then we started to write down the origin story of spiderman and batman. When we got the stories done and we started to rehearse the spiderman story. I  narrate the spidermN story and we had to keep stopping to add in something such as actions or what someone has to do. We ended up having a really good scene and next week we will get the scene done and start the next.

13th thursday

Todays lesson went really well actually. We got a pretty much the whole thing done and after the disgracr of a lesson last week i am glad we got it done. We got a new scene done where we explain supermans story line and we done all the other scenes we had so we managed to actually finish the performance and if we work this well everyweek we will get the performance done very soon.

Today was a very fun lesson. Last week we talked about changing the idea to iconic musicians over the past 60 years. We all really enjoyed this idea anf came up with a dance scene however today we found out we only have a 4 more lessons until we perform so we thought it best to stay with the comic book idea as we had more scenes and ideas for it. Today we came up with a dance for the final scene of our performance. Phill showed us this sing where ironman thor captain america and hulk sing about there movies. We thought that this wouls be a great way to end the show. I usually do not like dancing but i really enjoyed the dance today and i felt it fairly easy to learn however jake wasnt today so we are worried that when he comes back he wont be able to learn the dance as fast but that is a worry for next week.

i have fallen behind on this blog ( just starting it due to other blogs and coursework ) but to get up to date we making a piece on new vaurdervile which is based on the reduced shakespear company who do a subject such as Shakespeare and do all the stories in a single dramatic piece. When we first started we starting listing ideas that we could do. the major ideas that we came up with were ' all 6 star wars movies' ' chick flicks' 'greek myths' 'greatest music of the past 60 years' and ' comic book heroes' we narrowed down our ideas to music or comics and started to list all the points of each subject that we chosen and see which one we preferred, in the music piece we listed all the most well know singers and musicians, these included frankie valli, buddy holly, beyonce etc etc. and we listed down all the comic book characters we could think of such as superman spiderman ironman the hulk and so on. after this we talked about what piece we wanted to do and after a lesson of debating we decided to go with comics. The next lesson: in this lesson we decided on what we wanted to happen in some scenes and who wants to be who, i believe jake is batman and the riddler. liam is superman and the joker, phill is professor X. I'm Flash and hawk eye. Danny is spiderman and rosie is what ever female superhero/villain we need her to be. so far we have about 4 scene, the first scene is phil describing and rambling about comics because he is the narrator. Then spiderman comes on and tells the audience he has been bought by dc comics. The next scene is Spiderman walking out of the Dc comics room with hawk girl and meeting hawk eye who is essentially spider mans 'boy' they have a moment where they express how much they miss each other then spiderman tries to set hawk eye and hawk girl up but hawk eye won't because they are from different comic universes. the next scene is a speed dating scene where we pick a man out of the audience and the superheros do a sort of dating show type thing where we go up to the mic and say stuff, and we have 2 more rounds hidden talent and perfect date. the final scene we have is a rap battle against batman and the joker, we havnt seen this scene yet as only liam and jake worked on it and i do not know where it is going in the play. so thats everything up to date and I'm going to try really hard to keep this blog up to date and i will do a new blog every thursday in my study periods after lesson.
